Latvia Trade Deficit Narrows in June

Latvia's foreign trade deficit narrowed to EUR 381.5 million in June from EUR 410.1 million in the corresponding month last year, the country's statistics office said.

In May, the shortfall was EUR 631.14 million. As compared to last year, both exports and imports grew by 28.6% and 20%, respectively, in June.

On a monthly basis, exports fell 3.1%, while imports declined at a much faster rate of 13.0%.
