MNB Int'l Reserves Rise EUR 579 mln in November

International reserves of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) stood at EUR 40.899 billion at the end of November, up EUR 579 mln from a month earlier, data released by the central bank on Thursday show.

The stock of cash, deposits, and securities in the reserves fell EUR 247 mln to EUR 27.667 bln, while the stock of "other reserve instruments" climbed EUR 880 mln to EUR 4.946 bln.

Hungary sold USD 500 mln of bonds on international markets in a tap issue in November.

The value of monetary gold in the reserves stood at EUR 5.673 bln and stock of IMF SDRs reached EUR 2.245 bln at the end of November.

The reserves were EUR 2.191 bln over their level at the end of 2022.
