Polish Solar Market to Reach 27 GW in 2025

Poland is forecast to reach a total installed solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity of nearly 27 GW by 2025, according to the Institute for Renewable Energy's (IEO) 11th-edition report on the country's PV market.

Between 2022 and 2025 Poland is expected to install 14.4 GW, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21%.

Installed capacity has already exceeded 12.4 GW, from 7.7 GW in 2021, showing a growth rate of 61%.

"Our ambition is to become a leader in the development of photovoltaics in Europe in the coming years" commented Minister Ireneusz Zyska, Government Plenipotentiary for RES (renewable energy sources), said.
