Listing prices for resale homes in central Budapest climb 6%

Listing prices for resale homes in the inner districts of the Pest side of the capital increased around 6pc in August from the same period a year earlier, state news wire MTI reports, citing a monthly gauge of the market published by listed real estate broker Duna House.
Resale homes in downtown Budapest were listed for around HUF 824,000 per sqm.
Homes in the outer districts of Pest were listed for HUF 661,000 per sqm, on average, 9% more than a year earlier.
On the Buda side of the capital, listing prices stagnated around HUF 904,000 per sqm.
The data do not include pre-fabricated concrete homes built during the socialist era.
