Hungary’s industrial production on the rise

Automotive

Industrial production in Hungary grew by 2.4% in April, preliminary figures by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) have revealed. The 12-month index has seen a 10.1% increase.

April is the fourth consecutive month of industrial production growth in the country. Apparently the increase has been largely generated by vehicle production. The latest figures also foreshadow recovery in the manufacturing of electrical goods, the driving force before the crisis. The prospects are promising and suggest the sustainability of Industrial production.

KSH will not publish detailed figures until the next week, but experts say that based on this data the country’s industry is in the fast lane, and will likely stay the key driving force of economic growth.
