3,586 new COVID cases registered in Hungary

Some 3,586 new COVID cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,237,330 according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.
A total of 140 patients died yesterday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 38,307.
The number of recovered patients rose to 1,071,772, while the number of active cases stands at 127,251.
Some 4,827 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 464 of them require ventilation.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,245,773, of whom 5,957,571 have already received their second vaccination. Approximately 3.136 million people have already received their third vaccination.
