3,005 new COVID cases registered in Hungary

Some 3,005 new COVID cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,249,694 according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.

A total of 115 patients died yesterday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 39,009.

The number of recovered patients rose to 1,097,628, while the number of active cases stands at 113,057.

Some 3,854 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 357 of them require ventilation.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,257,771, of whom 5,973,555 have already received their second vaccination. Approximately 3.162 million people have already received their third vaccination.
