27,830 new COVID cases registered over last 3 days

Some 27,830 new COVID cases were registered in Hungary between Friday and Sunday bringing the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,096,718 according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.

A total of 460 patients died between November 26-28, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 34,326.

The number of recovered patients rose to 877,251, while the number of active cases stands at 185,141.

Some 7,438 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 695 of them require ventilation.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,120,959, of whom 5,839,078 have already received their second vaccination. About 2.477 million people have already received their third vaccination.
