Scope Ratings changed the outlook on listed Hungarian ICT company 4iG's BB- issuer rating to positive from stable in an action announced on Friday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

The change to the outlook was driven by 4iG's expected deleveraging and progress in integration of acquisitions, Scope said.

4iG acquired a controlling stake in Vodafone Hungary, with about 3 million subscribers, at the start of the year.

The companys operating profitability is expected to be boosted by "increasing synergies" and the announced phase-out of the utility tax in 2024 and the sectoral tax on telecommunications companies in 2025, Scope said.
