Poland's public debt to grow PLN 433 bln in 2020-21

Poland's public debt is expected to increase by PLN 433 billion (EUR 95 billion) over the first two years of the pandemic, reaching PLN 1.5 trillion (EUR 329 billion) by the end of 2021, Notesfrompoland.com reports.

That is an increase of 41.4% compared to 2019.

According to a report by the Finance Ministry, public debt rose by PLN 290 billion in 2020 and is forecast to grow a further PLN 143 billion this year.
