UPC Direct rebrands as Direct One

Telco

TV service provider UPC Direct has begun rebranding as Direct One at the beginning of February, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

The provider does not plan to make any changes in the popular tools and features, meaning that its lineup, premium movie channels and online TV service will remain as it is.

In the course of February, UPC Direct’s online platforms will be changing gradually and users will be automatically directed to the new platforms. Due to the rebranding process name changes will be applied, so the website carries on as directone.hu, the My UPC Direct online customer service portal will serve as My Direct One, and the UPC Direct Now app keeps operating as Direct Now with the usual features. Those who follow the service provider’s Facebook page will also find the show premieres, quizzes, and prize games under the page renamed to Direct One.

Rebranding will be implemented step by step, the company says. The brand name UPC Direct will gradually disappear in the following months, and as a result, the company will be present only as Direct One in the country by May. The change does not affect the client contracts, the billing, and administration processes. The customer service will be available at the same phone number, as well.
