K&H was one of the first banks to launch its official TikTok channel in mid-August, featuring videos showing the functions available in K&H’s mobile banking app.

“We like to be pioneers in appearing on different platforms, so we were among the first to appear on Tinder and Snapchat as a financial institution, and we were the first to advertise on Reddit. We have been advertising on TikTok since 2019, and the next stage of this campaign is the launch of our own channel. Our new mobile application also provides a great opportunity for entering the platform, and according to our plans, 2-3 new videos will appear here every week,” shares Nóra Horváth Magyary Voljč, K&H's communications director.

After advertising on TikTok for a long time, the financial institution launched its own channel on TikTok on August 15, uploading content about its mobile banking app.

According to a statement from K&H, it was not by chance that K&H chose mobile banking functions for the content appearing on the TikTok channel, as more and more people are using the financial institution's mobile bank. The number of users has doubled since 2020, and in addition to financial matters, non-banking services are also available in the application.

The new functions of the new mobile banking and the digital mobile banking assistant named Kate, will also be available through K&H's TikTok channel.

The topics of the first few videos include recalling a forgotten PIN code in mobile banking, an ATM search function, a discreet way to prevent unauthorized people from seeing the account balance and taking out travel insurance in mobile banking. K&H launched the channel after several months of preparation, and the financial institution cooperates with Mindshare in preparing the content.
