A significant price increase can be seen in the rural sublet market, according to Otthon Centrum's analysis, as the average monthly rent increased by 30% in one year, writes uzletem.hu.

The average monthly rent of brick apartments in Budapest was HUF 235,000 last year, 14.1% higher than the average value in 2022.

In rural towns with a population of more than 100,000 people, the average rent for apartments last year was HUF 168,000, 30% higher than in 2022, according to the annual summary by Otthon Centrum.
