Duna House and Credipass experts expect "dumping" in the real estate market this December, according to profitline.hu.

The introduction of inflation-tracking government securities may strengthen the desire of investors to buy real estate even more than usual, while buyers wanting to build a home will be motivated by the opportunities provided by subsidies, the experts explained.

December, usually considered the weakest period of the year, may hold some surprises this year.

The average number of market transactions estimated for December in the past 10 years is only 8,985, according to Duna House data, while the strongest month of 2023 so far was May, when the real estate brokerage network estimated 10,187 transactions.
