Duna House Projects 110,000-130,000 Home Sales in 2024

Home sales in Hungary are expected to reach 110,000-130,000 this year, listed real estate broker Duna House said on Friday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Duna House estimated that home sales slipped 27% to around 90,800 in 2023.

Resale home prices in the center of Budapest stood a little over HUF 1 million/sqm at the end of last year, Duna House said.

Home prices on the Buda side of the city exceeded HUF 1.1 mln/sqm and prices on the Pest side were over HUF 0.7 mln/sqm.
