Construction

First-half net sales revenue of Hungarian construction company Kész rose 29% year-on-year to HUF 109.3 billion, an earnings report posted on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange, where Kész's corporate bonds are listed, shows.

Operating profit climbed 110% to HUF 6.6 bln, but after-tax profit fell 12% to HUF 3.7 bln as a financial loss weighed.

Big projects Kész is working on include ones for Mercedes, BMW, Lego and MOL. The company noted that more than 90% of its order stock is from partners in the private sector, limiting its exposure to a downturn in public sector orders.
