Azahriah to Perform on the Sziget Main Stage

In Budapest

It's been almost 10 years since a Hungarian artist has performed on the Main Stage's evening showcase at Sziget. This year, however, on August 8, Azahriah will return to the Main Stage of the Island of Freedom with a concert as a featured artist, in time for the closing performance of the day.

Azahriah made his debut on Sziget 2022. Since then, the career of Hungary's most listened-to artist has been a comet, with a huge fan base in the Hungarian popular music scene and a successful European tour to his credit, in addition to a string of sold-out concerts in Hungary.

The artist will play only a few festival concerts this year, but "one of these is guaranteed to be a highlight, with every conceivable extra on Sziget on August 8", the organizers promise.

"Sziget has always placed a special emphasis on presenting special performances by local artists on almost all stages of the festival, but the evening bands on the Main Stage are typically international artists, based on the wish list of our audience. However, Azahriah's talent, track record, and incredible fan base has pushed a Hungarian star into the spotlight, and one who deserves a place on the Main Stage. And it's a special pleasure for us to help raise the international profile of Hungarian performers," said Tamás Kádár, Sziget's chief organizer.

Another special feature of the performance is that although day tickets for Sziget are not yet available, Azahriah fans can already buy tickets for this concert day.
