Hungarian Bankholding analysts receive int'l award

Hungarian Bankholding analysts have won the Consensus Economics 2021 Forecast Accuracy Award for Hungary, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

The prize was awarded to Gergely Suppan, senior analyst, and his team for the accuracy of their economic forecasts. In the 24-month competition, the teams of analysts produced forecasts for real GDP and inflation every month. 

This year's award is not the first for the experts, as the analysts of Takarékbank won the competition of the economic survey firm in 2015, 2018, and 2019.
