Brussels Transfers Another EUR 75 mln of Funding to Hungary

Another EUR 75.2 million of European Union funding that was earlier suspended has arrived in Hungary, Finance Minister Mihály Varga said in a post on social media on Friday.

The funding, equivalent to about HUF 29.8bn, will be used in the framework of an operative program for environment and energy efficiency, supporting investments to advance the green and digital transition, Mr said.

With the latest transfer, Hungary has received EUR 1.22 bln of its 2021-2027 EU funding, he added.
