Conditions for New Home Renovation Grant Softened

Starting June 3, subsidies are available under the Home Renovation Program, which allows owners of nearly 20,000 domestic family and twin houses built before 1990, including multi-family dwellings, to improve the energy efficiency of their homes with public assistance.
After announcing the starting date of the program and the banks participating in it, the Ministry of National Economy has now released new information on the program.
Following professional consultations and requests from the public, the condition of being connected to the gas network has been removed from the call for applications for detached houses.
This significantly increases the potential pool of applicants, according to an article by the economic news portal hvg.hu.
