Vehicle sales rise by 20.5% in January-February

Altogether 14,500 vehicles were sold in the first two months of the year, increasing by 20.5% on year on year terms, the Hungarian Leasing Association said today in a press release. The association expects the industry to continue developing in the future.

Approximately 11,000 cars were sold in the first two months of 2015, a year-on-year increase of 15%. Some 41% more minivans were sold, precisely 2,601, while sales of vans grew by 35% to 937. Altogether 44 buses were sold, double the number from the same period a year earlier.
