Hungarian National Trading House to open in Tel Aviv

History

Another office of the Hungarian National Trading House (MNKH) is expected to open in Tel Aviv in Q1 next year, the Hungarian Foreign Ministry announced late yesterday.

The ministry said that Israel's Netafim and Budapest waterworks Fővárosi Vízművek signed a letter of intent on cooperation after the meeting. Fővárosi Vízművek is majority owned by the Budapest City Council.

The MNKH, set up by the Hungarian state, partners with local trading houses to find new opportunities for Hungarian companies in foreign markets. The company was established as part of the government's policy of opening up to markets in the East.

MNKH offices were opened in Botswana, Pretoria, Morocco, Armenia and Brazil
