Wizz Air passenger numbers top 15 mln

Hungarian low-fare airline Wizz Air's passenger numbers reached 15 mln in the twelve months to the end of August, a new record, the company announced today.

Passenger numbers were up by 17% from a year earlier. Load factor during the period reached 86%.

The fleet of Wizz Air is expected grow to 54 A320 aircraft by the end of this year, said vice president John Stephenson.
