Magyar Posta Completes Upgrade at SW Package Depot

State-owned Hungarian postal company Magyar Posta has put into operation an automated conveyor line at its package depot in Nagykanizsa, which has been operating since March, the company said on Tuesday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
About 90 people work at the depot. It serves an area with close to 140,000 residents.
The conveyor line can process around 2,000 packages per hour on average.
Magyar Posta is spending about HUF 50 billion to upgrade and automate its package delivery infrastructure by 2023.
