As Christmas is approaching, retail chain Penny will provide a net amount of HUF 60,000 to all its active employees, which will be transferred to their SZÉP cards at the beginning of November, at the same time as the October salaries are paid.

In a letter, Penny informed its employees that it would thank them for their dedication and hard work in the difficult economic climate of the past period with a one-off, special benefit. The company's management decided on the bonus in consultation with the Trade Union of Commercial Employees, taking into account the possibilities provided by law.

The amount of the allowance is HUF 60,000 net per employee, which will be credited to the employees' SZÉP card accounts at the same time as their October salaries arrive.

"It is of utmost importance for Penny to strengthen the long-term commitment of its employees, and therefore the company takes advantage of all available opportunities. This is demonstrated by the significant salary increase of HUF 3.6 billion implemented at the beginning of the year, which we are supplementing with this one-off benefit as the holidays approach. Penny is proud of the fact that its complex benefits package is outstanding by domestic market standards," said Eszter Kazatsay, head of communications at Penny Hungary.
