Montenegro Jobless Rate Falls in Q4

Montenegro's unemployment rate fell to 12.2% in the fourth quarter of 2023 from 14.4% in the fourth quarter of 2022, the Statistical Office of Montenegro (Monstat) said in a statement on Tuesday.

The number of unemployed people fell 10.2% year-on-year and 1.3% quarter-on-quarter to 38,800 in the last three month of 2023.

The number of employed people meanwhile fell to 87.8% in the fourth quarter of 2023, down by 4.8% compared to the previous quarter, data showed.
