Zwack board proposes paying HUF 1,500 per share dividend

The board of Zwack Unicum, Hungary's biggest spirits maker, is proposing paying HUF 3.05 billion dividend on its business year ended on March 31, 2022, state news wire MTI reports.

According to its invitation to its annual general meeting published on Wednesday, Zwack would pay a HUF 1,500-per-share dividend on earnings from its previous business year.

Zwack had HUF 31.3 bln gross revenue and HUF 3.2 bln after-tax profit in its 2021-2022 business year.

For the 2020-2021 business year Zwack's dividend fund came to HUF 1.42 bln, and it paid a HUF 700-per-share dividend.

The AGM is set to be held on June 29.
