Music icon Sting will return to the Hungarian capital on May 31, 2024, where he will perform at the Budapest Arena as part of his world tour, according to a statement from Live Nation.

According to the announcement, the 17-time Grammy Award-winning singer-musician is preparing a dynamic concert program, playing his most popular hits, songs written both with the band Police and as a solo artist.

Members of the official Sting fan club can buy tickets first for the concert in Budapest via the website sting.com. The pre-purchase option will also be available to registered Live Nation members, while full ticket sales will start on November 24.

The 72-year-old singer's first concert in Budapest was in 1988 during the Amnesty International tour, when he performed with Peter Gabriel, Bruce Springsteen, and Tracy Chapman at the Népstadion. In 2004, he played in front of 250,000 people at the free Kapcsolat concert in the capital. He last gave a concert in Hungary last October.
