Hungary will host the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), a gathering of conservative activists and elected officials from the United States and beyond, on April 25-26, the director of the Budapest-based Center for Fundamental Rights said on Facebook on Friday.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has been asked to be a keynote speaker at CPAC Hungary, Miklós Szánthó said.

Budapest hosted CPAC Hungary in 2022 and 2023.

CPAC, which is organized by the American Conservative Union (ACU), calls itself the "largest and most influential gathering of conservatives in the world".
