Gov't calls for technical screening of László Papp Arena

The government supports the full technical screening of the László Papp Budapest Sports Arena, according to the call for tenders published in the electronic public procurement notice, writes business daily Világgazdaság.

One of the largest indoor sports facilities in Budapest will soon be 20 years old, which is why a public procurement has been announced for the comprehensive status report.

The contractor must also propose repairs, renovations, upgrades, replacement, and purchase of equipment.

According to the announcement, all this will be done to make the complex fit to meet market challenges competitively, to perform its multifunctional tasks efficiently and in accordance with the requirements of the age.
