Pope Francis to visit Hungary

Pope Francis will visit Hungary to participate at the closing mass of the International Eucharistic Congress on September 12, Cardinal Péter Erdő, Archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest, told state news wire MTI on Monday.
Budapest fairgrounds Hungexpo will host the International Eucharistic Congress from September 5.
Hungary was to have hosted the congress in 2020, but it was postponed because of the pandemic.
