Ukraine Crisis: Most Hungarian companies expect war to impact business
Around three-fourths of Hungarian companies expect the war in Ukraine to affect business negatively, state news wire MTI reports citing a survey by economic research institute GKI shows.
Around 26% of companies expect a "very negative" impact on business and 46% a "moderately negative" impact. About 27% don't expect the war to have a "tangible effect" on business for the time being.
Industrial companies have the biggest concerns, while companies in the construction and commerce sectors are less concerned.
About 57% of companies in business services don't expect the war to have much of an effect on business.
The survey of 742 companies, with a headcount of at least 10, was conducted on March 4-18.
