Voluntary pension fund contributions climb 8% in Q1-Q3

Voluntary pension fund contributions rose 8.1% year-on-year to HUF 96.4 billion in Q1-Q3, state news wire MTI reports, citing data released by the National Bank of Hungary (MNB).

Contributions by members increased 8.1% to HUF 72.2 bln. Employer contributions rose 4.3% to HUF 24.1 bln.

There were 33 voluntary pension funds operating in Hungary in Q3, level with the number in the same period a year earlier.
