Slovenia's average wage slightly down in July

Slovenia's average gross wage and salary stood at EUR 1,941 in July, down 0.6% nominally and 0.2% in real terms on June, the Ljubljana-based Statistics Bureau (SUSR) said on Wednesday.
Totaling EUR 1,250, the average net wage was down 0.5% in nominal terms and 0.9% in real terms.
The highest month-on-month increase was recorded in education (+6.5%) and the sharpest decrease in health care and social care (-7.1%), mostly because hazard bonuses stopped being paid. According to the statistics agency, the highest monthly wage was paid in the financial and insurance sector, - EUR 2,701.
