Slovenia C. Bank's FX Reserves Rise in Feb

The foreign exchange (FX) reserves held by Slovenia's central bank amounted to EUR 1.029 billion at the end of February, up by EUR 100.3 million compared to a month earlier, the central bank (NBS) said.

The total international reserves of Slovenia's central bank went up to EUR 2.387 billion at the end of February from EUR 2.266 billion a month earlier, data showed.

Gold reserves fell by EUR 500,000 on month to EUR 191.7 million at the end of February, special drawing rights (SDRs) went down to EUR 974 million from EUR 981.8 million and Slovenia's reserve position in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) declined to EUR 192 million from EUR 192.3 million, the bank noted.
