N. Macedonia's August real net wage edges down on month

North Macedonia's real net wage ticked up 0.4% year-on-year in August after increasing by 1.3% the previous month, the Skopje-based State Statistical Office (Maksrar) said in a statement Friday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage added 4% annually in August, reaching MAD 28,642 (EUR 464.5).
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage edged down 0.3% in August.
According to Makstat, the strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms - by 14% - was registered in the professional, scientific and technical activities sector.
