371 new COVID cases registered in Hungary

Some 371 new coronavirus cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 816,222, according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.

A total of 12 patients died, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 30,114.

The number of recovered patients rose to 779,250, while the number of active cases stands at 6,858.

Some 307 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 40 of them require ventilation.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 5,847,002, of whom 5,553,346 have already received their second vaccination. About 544,000 people have already received their third vaccination.
