3,382 new COVID cases registered in Hungary

A total of 3,382 new COVID cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of identified infections since the start of the epidemic to 1,300,994, according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.

Some 69 COVID-infected people died yesterday, bringing the total number of deaths to 40,016.

The number of recovered persons is increasing, currently standing at 1,147,818, and the number of active infections now stands at 113,160.

A total of 2,932 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, 274 of them are on ventilators. 

The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,294,707, of whom 6,033,675 have already had their second vaccination and 3,292,175 have already had their booster jabs.
