265 new coronavirus cases registered in Hungary

Some 265 new coronavirus cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 821,526, according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.

A total of eight patients died yesterday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 30,179.

The number of recovered patients rose to 783,815, while the number of active cases stands at 7,532.

Some 513 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 74 of them require ventilation.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 5,881,493, of whom 5,635,553 have already received their second vaccination. About 725,000 people have already received their third vaccination.
