ITM: Benefits increased with minimum wages

Due to the substantial increase in the mandatory minimum wage, the related benefits have also increased significantly since January 2022, emphasized State Secretary for Employment Policy Sándor Bodó, of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM), reports novekedes.hu.
The state secretary explained that several benefits and subsidies are linked to the guaranteed minimum wage.
The mandatory minimum wage has risen by nearly a fifth in the new year, three times the 2009 level.
With the increase, the gross monthly salary of public employment increased to HUF 100,000 and the maximum amount of the job-search allowance to HUF 200,000 per month.
