Pallas Athene Foundation assets close to HUF 281 bln

Assets of the National Bank of Hungary's Pallas Athene Foundation reached HUF 281.2 billion at the end of the second quarter, the foundation's asset manager, Optima, told state news wire MTI.

The assets included HUF 229 billion in investment fund units, HUF 0.3 bln in real estate, HUF 35.8bn in bank deposits and HUF 16.1 bln in corporate bonds.

The foundation and its legal predecessors have awarded HUF 12.4 bln in academic and scientific grants to 1,658 applicants since 2014.
