MNB Int'l Reserves Rise EUR 663 mln in August

International reserves of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) stood at EUR 36.506 billion at the end of August, up EUR 663 mln from a month earlier, state news wire MTI reports, citing data released by the central bank on Wednesday.

Stock of cash, deposits, and securities in the reserves rose EUR 651 mln to EUR 28.46 bln during the month.

The value of monetary gold in the reserves edged down EUR 23 mln to EUR 5.22 bln.

MNB's international reserves were EUR 1.871 bln under their level at the end of 2021.
