ÁKK sells HUF 28 bln of bonds at switch auction

The Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) sold HUF 28 billion of bonds maturing in 2029 and 2034 for ones expiring in 2022 and 2023 at a switch auction on Wednesday, a little under the plan.

ÁKK sold HUF 5.5 bln of 2029/A bonds, accepting 2022/A bonds as payment. Dealers bid for HUF 7.6 bln of the securities. 

The agency sold HUF 10 bln of the 2029/A bonds for 2022/B bonds after bids reached HUF 14.1 bln.

ÁKK sold HUF 12.5 bln of 2034/A bonds for 2023/C bonds, raising its original offer after bids came to HUF 22.2 bln.

The agency had planned to switch HUF 10 bln of each of the bonds.
