Some six out of ten companies are already doing something in the summer in order to lower their energy costs, according to recent research from K&H Bank.

They are mainly concerned with modernizing investments, but the sensible use of lighting is also a popular measure.

Among the sectors, trade is the most sensitive to energy prices, with seven out of ten companies planning to take some steps to cut costs.

Other developments, not aimed at energy efficiency, are still to be seen, as the proportion of those planning the purchase of production machines and IT development is currently at a low point.
