Enel unit builds PV park for retailer Kaufland in Romania

Enel X Romania, a local unit of Italy's Enel Group, is implementing a photovoltaic (PV) system for retailer Kaufland in Turda, in Cluj County, western Romania, the company announced according to Romania Insider.

The solar park, a EUR 1 million investment, will have an installed capacity of 1 MWp (megawatt-peak).

The project involves the turnkey delivery of a system that integrates over 2,000 PV panels located on a plot of land in the vicinity of the Kaufland logistics center in Turda.

The PV system expected to generate an annual 1,277 MWh (megawatt-hour) electricity. Enel X Romania's portfolio includes projects implemented for companies in sectors such as food, retail, logistics centers, shopping centers, and office buildings.
