The amendment of the rules for reducing utility bills encourages the population's modernization plans to save energy, according to a joint representative survey by GKI and Masterplast in August, writes napi.hu.

It was found that 6.5% of households are definitely planning to make energy-saving renovations this year, and 13.4% are probably planning to do so.

Although no decision was made on the possible extension of the program, two-thirds of the respondents completely agree, and one-fifth largely agree that the state should continue to support residential investments to reduce the energy consumption of residential properties in the future.

Next year 5.1% of households are definitely planning, and 20.2% are probably planning energy modernization.
