MOL board proposes dividends of around HUF 300 per share
The board of Hungary's MOL will propose to shareholders payment of a dividend on last year's earnings of around HUF 100 per share and a special dividend of about HUF 200 per share at an annual general meeting on April 28, the oil and gas company said after the closing bell on Tuesday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
The company noted that the board did not propose a dividend on 2019 earnings, because of the coronavirus crisis, while it generated "record high" EBITDA and free cash flow in 2021, supported by "very strong" macro conditions.
MOL had basic earnings per share of HUF 731 in 2021.
Last year, it paid a HUF 95-per-share dividend.
