3/4 of Hungarians Use Financial App

Some 73% of Hungarians use some kind of financial application, which has become the second most popular type following social media applications, according to recent representative research by Magyar Bankholding.

Speed ​​and convenience were mentioned as the biggest advantages of online banking, while directness and personality are the most preferred in personal administration.

Less than a third of the respondents visit bank branches regularly, but we prefer to apply for credit products in person.

Half of the Hungarian population uses their internet bank several times a week. Another 22% of the respondents replied that they access the interface once a week, and only 2% do so less often than once a month.

Bank mobile applications are also equally popular. Some 56% of the population use the application provided by their bank several times a week, 19% once a week, and only 1% of those surveyed do not use their bank's application on their smartphone.
