Home Rental Rates in Hungary Rise 20% in December

Home rental rates in Hungary rose 20.2% year-on-year in December, data compiled by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) from listings site Ingatlan.com show, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
Rental rates in the capital increased 21.9%.
In a month-on-month comparison, home rental rates edged down 0.7% nationwide - falling for the first time in two years - and slipped 0.9% in Budapest.
The monthly rental rate for a flat in the capital averaged HUF 207,000 in the second half. In the west of the country, a flat could be rented for HUF 147,000 per month.
