After last year's significant drop, the population's home renovation plans are only picking up very slowly, according to the July survey of GKI Economic Research, writes profitline.hu.

It was found that 6.7% of households will definitely spend more money on their residential property in the next year, while 18.5% probably want to.

In the previous quarter, the same two ratios were 4.9% and 19.6%.

This indicates that the proportion of families certain to renovate has increased by almost two percentage points, while the proportion of those who are more uncertain has decreased by one point compared to the previous survey.
